AmeriCorps State Team Leader

AmeriCorps State Team Leader Arizona Serve was founded in 2006 in Prescott.
In 2013, Arizona Serve expanded to Tucson, and in 2015, we took on a large AmeriCorps State team that provides valuable work to over 40 organizations.
In 2022, they were awarded a grant as part of the inaugural Public Health Corps.
Arizona Serve is housed at Prescott College and places over 150 AmeriCorps members in Pima County and Yavapai County.
Member Duties :
The member will provide member support to other State members, facilitate meetings and trainings, plan events, and conduct outreach and recruitment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
