00 AM This is exciting opportunity to ensure Exro's products are tested to highest standards. Reporting to the Director Product Development and Functional Safety, this role has a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Include Develop test cases for Exro's Coil Driver and other Exro products. Collaborate with design leads, firmware developers, and Quality to establish test scenarios. Write test cases, test setups, pre- and post-tests, test sequences. Create links between tests and requirements. Prepare and execute test sets. Write test cases with possible automation in mind. Write manual test cases in simple and graphical steps. Execute manual tests on physical equipment if required. Analyze the root cause of test failure. Write and track product bug tickets. As needed; manage ordering, building, and verifying dedicated test setups. Credentials & Experience Electrical Engineer with 3 years work experience or equivalent experience. Work experience in the context of inverters or electric motors is a strong plus, but not mandatory. Familiarity working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) such as IBM Doors or codebeamer is a plus. Experience with requirements traceability is a plus. Familiarity with test-based development. Experience with CAN Protocols such as XCP, J1939, CANOpen is a plus. Prior exposure to automotive development processes is a plus. Experience in interfacing with embedded hardware is a plus. Ability to work with engineering team members on a continuous path of learning and solving hard problems. Willingness and openness to collaborate, adapt, learn new skills as required. Proven ability to work well as part of a team and with minimal supervision. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to document in a concise and visual manner. Ability to travel as required, including international travel. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and effectively handle multiple tasks.
